About Houston

ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team

This position will contribute to the strategic direction and day-to-day activities associated with ExxonMobil’s corporate advertising and marketing initiatives. He/she will serve as a direct lead to our agency partners and as manager for advertising campaigns and will play a significant role in strategic campaign development.

What you will do

  • Key contributor to planning and implementation of high-value upper-funnel brand ad creative campaigns, specifically fulfilment of paid media plan deliverables

  • Driver of digital advertising best practices for application in CX, analytics and CRM integration across paid advertising activations. (LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube)

  • Key collaborator with our agency partners to ensure advertising creative and messaging aligns to corporate and campaign strategy and is optimized for performance/relevance by channel

  • Marketing lead with integrated communications and business line stakeholders to ensure support for on-going key priorities and communications strategies. Exposure to key EM senior leadership in a meaningful way

  • Stays up to date with current trends/developments in brand advertising and generates new ideas, has key role in our P&GA mission to redefine and modernize our overall marketing approach

  • Model our P&GA culture and set the pace for marketing expertise at ExxonMobil

About you

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (in marketing, advertising, digital or multimedia, communications or strategy preferred)

  • Experience working in digital advertising support function with/as brand manager, etc. in-house or from within a creative or media agency environment.

  • Strong project management skills with an eye for creative design; ability to manage large, complex/multi-layer, quick-turn projects

  • Knowledge of digital analytics reporting and CX.

  • Work on tight deadlines and within the real time, fast-paced environment of digital and social communications

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

  • Familiarity and interest in issues related to energy, the environment, sustainability, corporate citizenship and government relations

  • Highly skilled in marketing project-management with an ability to multi-task and remain flexible when priorities change

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships

  • Enthusiasm for marketing and comms in BtB space

  • Strategic advisor on holistic user experience / user journey

  • Familiarity with agile project management principles
